When to assess

Common mistakes of change initiative assessment:

1.  Assessing too early (OD change readiness assessment)
2.  Assessing too late (CM results analyzers)

Neither type of assessment helps leaders 

quickly respond to implementation problems.  

The following graph illustrates when this tool can help you and your leadership team:

 The (1) pre-launch and (2) launch phases are often combined and also called the planning phase.  The 3 green diamonds u in the above graphic are described as A, B, and C below. This assessment can be of benefit:

(A) in the middle of this planning phase, 
(B) in the beginning of the implementation phase, and
(C) in the middle of the implementation phase.
